LE DEMARREUR
Vous tournez la clé de contact et rien ne se passe : votre taxi ne démarre pas...
Et avec une boîte automatique, pas question de démarrer en poussant le véhicule !
Avant d'accuser le démarreur, vérifiez que :
- La batterie est suffisemment chargée ; voir : Batterie
- Le levier de transmission est bien sur la position "P" : engagez-le une nouvelle fois sur cette position ;
- Le relais d'antidémarrage fonctionne correctement : vérifiez les connections ou mieux, changez le relais ; voir : Relais
- Le bouton de coupure d'alimentation en gasoil n'est pas allumé ;
- Si le taxi possède un jack antivol, retirez et remettez le jack dans son logement ;
- Le fil d'excitation est bien connecté au solénoïde du démarreur !

You turn the key and nothing happens: your taxi does not start ...
And with an automatic transmission, don't fancy starting by pushing the car!
Before blaming the starter, make sure:
- The battery is sufficiently charged; see: Battery
- The transmission lever is on the "P" position: engage it again to that position;
- The immobilizer relay operates correctly: check connections or better, change the relay; see: Relays
- The fuel cut-off switch doesn't glow red;
- If the taxi is equipped with an anti theft jack, remove and replace the jack in its slot;
- The actuation wire is connected to the starter solenoid!
