FASCIA PUSH BUTTONS

18. Rear internal lamps switch This push button can be used to switch the passengers compartment lights on or off irrespective of the position of the push button control switch in the passenger compartment.

19. Front internal lamp switch Pushing the button switches on the driver's internal light. Pushing again will switch it off.

20. Spare switch position. Pushing this button activates the air-condition if fitted to the vehicle. Pushing the button again will switch it off.

21. Hazard warning switch Pushing the button operates the direction indicators as a hazard warning. The direction indicator lamps on both sides of the vehicle and the lamp in the button head will operate in unison irrespective of whether the auxiliary circuits are switched on or off. Pressing the button again will cancel the hazard warning.

22. Rear fog-guard lamp switch With the headlamps switched to either 'Dip' or 'Main Beam', pushing the button will operate the rear fog-guard lamp; a lamp in the button head will glow to indicate operation. Pushing the button again will switch off the lamp.

23. Heated rear screen Pressing the button operates the rear screen heater. The lamp in the button will glow to indicate operation. Pushing the button again will switch off both the rear screen heater and the button head indicator lamp. The screen heater and the button head indicator will automatically switch off after 12 minutes.

HEATER CONTROLS AND OTHER FITTINGS

24. Cigar Lighter Press the knob to operate. When heated and ready for use the element will partly eject and can then be withdrawn for use.

25. Passenger's blower switch The switch can be used to switch the passenger's compartment blower on or off, irrespective of the position of the heater on/off and blower control switches in the passenger compartment.

26. Driver's blower switch This is an on/off control of the circulation of air in the driver's compartment and provides a choice of two blower speeds.

27. Driver's air distribution control This provides a variable control of air distribution between screen and floor level.

28. Temperature control This variable control can be used to set the temperature of the circulating air both in the driver's and passenger's compartments.

29. Taxi hire sign illumination This control is situated on the lower left hand side of the fascia and is an on/off switch for the illumination of the 'TAXI' hire sign. When the illumination of the Taxi sign is controled by the taximeter, the location of the button is blanked off with a plastic plate.

30. Panel illumination This control is situated on the lower left hand side of the fascia and provides two levels of brightness for panel illumination.

31. Radio (if fitted) The aperture to house a radio will normally be blanked off with a plastic plate which can be prised off when required.

20. Bouton libre Ce bouton est prévu pour une fonction non définie. La poussée de ce bouton met en route l'air conditionné si le véhicule en est équipé. Appuyez une seconde fois pour l'éteindre.

21. Feux de détresse La poussée du bouton actionne les feux de direction en feux de détresse. Les voyants de direction des deux côtés du véhicule et les voyants intérieurs fonctionneront à l'unisson, que les circuits auxiliaires soient allimentés ou non. Appuyez une seconde fois pour arrêter le signal.

22. Feux anti-brouillard Avec les phares commutés, pousser le bouton actionnera le feux anti-brouillard, une lumière dans le bouton indiquera la mise en marche du feux. Appuyez une seconde fois pour éteindre.

23. Désembuage de la vitre arrière Appuyez sur le bouton pour actionner le chauffage de la vitre arrière. Une lumière dans le bouton indiquera la mise en marche. Appuyez une seconde fois pour éteindre. Le chauffage de la vitre arrière et le voyant du bouton se couperont automatiquement au bout de 12 minutes.

COMMANDES DU CHAUFFAGE ET AUXILIAIRES

24. Allume-cigare Presser le bouton. Lorsqu'il est rougi et prêt à être utilisé, l'élément sera partiellement éjecté et pourra être retiré pour utilisation.

25. Ventilation côté passagers Le bouton peut être utilisé pour activer ou stopper la ventilation côté passagers, indépendemment de la position marche/arrêt des boutons de contrôle dans le compartiment passager.

26. Ventilation côté conducteur Le bouton peut être utilisé pour activer ou stopper la ventilation dans le compartiment conducteur, et offre un choix de deux vitesses de ventilation.

27. Distribution d'air côté conducteur Cette manette propose un contrôle variable de la distribution d'air côté conducteur, entre le pare-brise et le plancher.

28. Contrôle de la température Cette manette peut être utilisée pour contrôler la température de l'air circulant aussi bien du côté conducteur que du côté passagers.

29. Eclairage du bloc 'TAXI' extérieur Ce bouton est situé en bas à gauche sous le volant et permet d'illuminer le bloc 'TAXI' situé sur le toit du véhicule. Lorsque la commande d'éclairage du bloc se fait par le taximètre, l'emplacement du bouton est occulté par un cache.

30. Eclairage du tableau de bord Ce bouton est situé en bas à gauche sous le volant, et permet d'illuminer le tableau de bord, avec un choix de deux luminosités différentes.

31. Emplacement de la radio Un cache plastique recouvre la partie ou s'encastre la radio, si celle-ci n'est pas fournie avec le véhicule.
